The Role Working directly alongside the Principals and Associates, you will lead the delivery of major building structures projects, providing technical direction across all phases of design and construction. You will be a trusted advisor to clients, a mentor to developing engineers and an integral contributor to project strategy, design decisions and successful project outcomes. This role is ideally suited to a technically strong engineer who enjoys taking ownership, leading project teams and delivering high-quality solutions across a diverse range of building structures projects including high-rise residential, commercial, healthcare, education and mixed-use developments. Responsibilities Lead the structural design and delivery of complex building structures projects Provide technical leadership and oversight across project teams Manage project programmes, resources and technical quality outcomes Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects and project stakeholders Mentor and develop engineers and drafters within the team Review and approve structural designs, calculations and documentation Drive successful project outcomes from concept design through to construction Contribute to business growth through the development of strong client relationships and repeat work opportunities Requirements Significant experience within an Australian structural engineering consultancy Demonstrated experience delivering medium to high-rise building structures projects Strong technical expertise across reinforced concrete, steel and foundation systems Proven ability to lead project teams and coordinate multidisciplinary design outcomes Confidence engaging directly with clients, architects and contractors Excellent communication and leadership skills Full Australian working rights Ambition to continue progressing toward Associate-level responsibilities This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to step into a role where you'll make a real difference to landmark buildings across the Sydney skyline and beyond.
