The Role As part of a well-established civil and water team, you will work on a diverse range of flood modelling and flood assessment projects across transport infrastructure, urban development and land development sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an intermediate engineer looking to further develop their technical capability while gaining exposure to a broad project portfolio. You will be supported by experienced mentors and technical leaders while progressively taking greater ownership of project delivery and client interaction. Responsibilities Undertake flood modelling, flood studies and flood impact assessments across a variety of projects. Assist in the delivery of projects from concept through to completion. Work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams. Prepare technical reports and supporting documentation. Liaise with clients, councils and other project stakeholders. Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the flooding and water team. Requirements Approximately 3–6 years' experience in flood modelling or flood engineering within an Australian engineering consultancy. Experience using TUFLOW and associated flood modelling software. Exposure to flood studies, floodplain management or flood impact assessments. Experience across transport, urban development or land development projects will be highly regarded. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Full Australian working rights.
