Role and Responsibilities As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing and production processes. Your responsibilities will include: Programming/setting and operating various CNC machines for production of specialised metal components Understanding and reading technical drawings and specifications Performing inspections to ensure conformance Reviewing CAM-generated toolpaths and optimising cycle times Troubleshooting machine issues, tool wear and alarms Collaborating with production supervisor and staff to improve workflow Maintaining tight tolerances Using and understanding precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometres, vernier callipers and other CMM equipment) to verify accuracy and quality Your Skills and Experience (preferred but not essential) Australian recognized Trade Qualification as a First-Class Machinist CNC operator and programmer with over 3 years of experience Programming experience with SolidWorks software Programming experience with ESPRIT or similar software Experience with DMG MORI 5-axis machines or similar Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Profit share based on performance Secure and stable workplace Uniform, safety gear and necessary tools provided Close to public transport Onsite carpark 38 hour week Core hours: 6am – 3:30pm (flexible to suit you) N.B.
