WE ARE SEEKING A COMPASSIONATE AND ORGANISED SUPPORT OFFICER TO JOIN A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY SERVICES TEAM! THE ROLE: As the support officer you will provide carer focused services and phone based consultations to support carers in identifying goals and accessing appropriate supports and services. This role supports intake, planning, and coordination activities within a dynamic and collaborative environment. It requires a high level of flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced setting You will work in a strengths based and trauma informed manner, supporting carers through intake, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of tailored support plans. ABOUT YOU: We are seeking candidates who are empathetic, resilient, highly organised, and passionate about supporting carers and the community. SELECTION CRITERIA: Essential: Relevant tertiary qualification in Health Services, Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Work Demonstrated experience with assessments, service coordination, and referral processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone manner Any experience working with case management and working in Clinical settings will be preferred National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain) Experience working in a contact centre environment is highly regarded.
