Hotel Mosman is seeking a qualified and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. Hotel Mosman is a busy hospitality venue located in Mosman, NSW, offering a broad bistro-style menu including steaks, schnitzels, burgers, seafood dishes, salads and other traditional Australian pub meals. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare, season and cook a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Assist with planning and preparation of menu items for lunch and dinner service. Ensure food quality, consistency and portion control standards are maintained. Operate commercial kitchen equipment including grills, ovens, fryers and food preparation equipment. Monitor food preparation and cooking processes to ensure compliance with food safety requirements. Inspect food supplies and ingredients for quality and freshness. Assist with stock control, stock rotation and minimisation of food wastage. Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements. Work effectively with other kitchen staff during busy service periods. Requirements Relevant commercial cookery qualification and/or demonstrated commercial kitchen experience. Ability to prepare and cook a broad range of bistro-style menu items. Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
