The Role We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Electrician to join our Facilities Maintenance Team. This important role contributes to the maintenance and reliability of electrical systems across airport terminals, buildings, lighting, and power distribution infrastructure. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring electrical maintenance activities are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with statutory regulations and airport policies, supporting the continuous operation of Adelaide and Parafield Airports. Maintain and maximise the operational availability of airport electrical systems and critical infrastructure Support AAL in meeting compliance obligations relating to electrical systems and supply Contribute to the implementation of planned maintenance programs Respond to reactive maintenance and electrical breakdowns in a timely manner Participate in Airport Emergency Response activities Work within and contribute to AAL’s policies, procedures, and maintenance standards Deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders Promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive workplace Comply with WHS and Environmental responsibilities Live the AAL Values Accountability – Excellence starts with ownership Integrity – Do the right thing, even when no one’s around to see it Respect – Good humans make great workplaces Teamwork – Collaboration drives us Celebration unites us Customer Focussed – Think customer. Essential Electrical “A” Class Licence Desirable MR Truck Licence Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards Understanding of WHS and maintenance procedures HV Switching Licence EWP Licence Work Zone Traffic Management Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or industrial environment Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Competence using computer-based systems and maintenance software Why Join Adelaide Airport?
