About the Role Iconic Form Group Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Formwork Carpenter to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a specialist in formwork, you will be responsible for interpreting structural designs and constructing durable, high-quality concrete formwork and timber structures across our project sites. Key Responsibilities and Duties Study structural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures for concrete formwork. Order, select, and prepare timbers, plywood, and required materials for formwork assembly. Measure, cut, and shape timber and structural wood to precise specifications. Construct, erect, and dismantle concrete formwork for commercial and residential structures. Assemble and nail cut and shaped parts, erecting framework and structural bracing. Verify the trueness, leveling, and alignment of formwork structures prior to concrete pours. Assemble prepared wood to form structures and temporary supports. Maintain a safe worksite, ensuring all formwork complies with Australian safety and building standards. Skills and Experience Required Qualifications: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3). At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. Recent Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year of full-time, post-qualification experience in the nominated occupation. Strong proficiency with timber, plywood, and formwork construction techniques. Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team. High attention to detail and strong adherence to workplace health and safety protocols.
