Western Sydney | Hybrid Working | Complex, Multi-entity Business 6-Month Temporary (Potential for Extension/Permanency) Lead Lease & Fixed Asset Accounting We are partnering with a large, diversified organisation operating across multiple business lines, currently seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant (Leases/Fixed Assets) to support a critical period across year-end and audit. This is a hands-on role with real ownership across asset accounting, lease accounting, and financial control, within a fast-paced and evolving environment. The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial results, with a strong focus on assets, leases, and project accounting. Key responsibilities include: Lead and support month-end and year-end close Ownership of fixed assets, capitalisation, disposals, and depreciation Manage lease accounting (AASB 16 / IFRS 16) including ongoing adjustments Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Support audit deliverables (internal & external) Partner with operational stakeholders to resolve accounting issues Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members Drive process improvements and efficiencies About You You are a technically strong accountant who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is comfortable stepping up when needed. Key requirements: CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent experience) ~5–7 years’ experience in financial accounting with strong experience in: Asset accounting Lease accounting (AASB 16 / IFRS 16) Experience in multi-entity / complex organisations Strong stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines Experience in asset-heavy or infrastructure environments Exposure to project accounting How to Apply: To apply, please click on the appropriate link below.
