The Organisation: Our client is a well-established and respected organisation providing specialised services to the mining and resources industry across Western Australia. With a strong reputation for delivering quality outcomes and maintaining long-term client relationships, they are seeking an experienced Mobilisation Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave vacancy. Based south of Perth, this position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting critical shutdown and project activities across multiple sites. There is potential for the role to be extended for the right candidate. The Responsibilities: The duties of the role will consist of the following; however, will not be limited to: - Coordinating the mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel across multiple projects and shutdowns - Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to coordinate labour requirements and project schedules - Organising travel, accommodation, site access, training, and inductions for employees and contractors - Maintaining training matrices and ensuring workforce compliance requirements are met - Assisting with shutdown planning, project administration, and mobilisation documentation - Preparing project folders, reports, and post-shutdown documentation - Coordinating tooling, equipment hire, PPE, and uniform requirements - Supporting payroll collation, procurement activities, and general administration functions - Managing scheduling changes and resolving mobilisation-related issues in a timely manner - Providing after-hours support when required during peak project periods The Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will obtain the following attributes; which will not be limited to: - Previous experience in a Mobilisation Coordinator, Shutdown Coordinator, Workforce Planning, or similar role - Exposure to the mining, resources, construction, engineering, or labour hire sectors highly regarded - Strong understanding of mobilisation processes, site compliance requirements, and workforce scheduling - Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels - High attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - Experience with ERP systems such as Pronto, SAP, or similar would be advantageous - A proactive attitude with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment What's On Offer: - Opportunity to join a reputable organisation within the resources sector - Varied and fast-paced role with exposure to major shutdown and project activities - Supportive leadership team and positive workplace culture - Weekly pay cycle - Immediate start available - Potential for contract extension for the right candidate For further information please contact Paris Castledine at pcastledine@sharpandcarter.com.au
