This is a high impact sales role for a commercially sharp business developer who enjoys opening doors, building trusted relationships and converting technical solutions into long term customer value. The role would suit someone with experience selling into critical infrastructure, thermal solutions, mechanical services, HVAC, data centres, engineering solutions, construction, electrical infrastructure or technical project environments. You will be joining a business with a strong brand, broad product portfolio and genuine appetite for growth across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. The Opportunity This is a true business development role. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and winning new opportunities across a complete portfolio of technical products and solutions. You will work closely with sales, service, product, engineering, application and solution teams to shape the right offer for each customer. The role is highly relationship driven and will involve regular engagement with end users, consultants, contractors, builders, channel partners and industry stakeholders. You will have the freedom to build pipeline, influence specifications, lead early customer engagement and drive opportunities from qualification through to close. What You Will Be Doing Identifying and winning new business across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands Building trusted relationships with end users, consultants, contractors and partners Promoting a broad portfolio of technical infrastructure solutions Driving revenue growth and contributing directly to market share expansion Managing the full sales cycle from opportunity qualification through to deal closure Working with technical teams to develop tailored customer solutions Influencing early stage project discussions and specification activity Facilitating customer meetings, consultant briefings and industry engagement Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline through CRM discipline Providing accurate forecasting, market feedback and monthly sales updates Tracking competitor activity, market trends and customer requirements Supporting continuous improvement across sales process and customer experience What We Are Looking For We are looking for a motivated and credible sales professional with a strong technical solutions background. You may come from thermal engineering, HVAC, critical infrastructure, data centres, mechanical services, electrical infrastructure, engineering products, technical construction solutions or a related market. The ideal person will be confident engaging with customers at different levels, from technical teams through to commercial decision makers. You will be comfortable presenting, negotiating and influencing outcomes in competitive sales environments. Most importantly, you will bring a genuine hunter mindset. This role needs someone who enjoys developing new relationships, finding opportunities and driving revenue growth.
