About the Company An established commercial builder is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its Brisbane team. This is a good opportunity for a PM who enjoys running projects properly — managing clients, consultants, subbies, programme, cost and delivery without being buried under layers of corporate fluff. You’ll be joining a business with a strong pipeline of commercial projects across fitout, refurbishment and general building works, with projects typically sitting across live environments, office, retail, hospitality, education, health and mixed commercial spaces. About the Role You will be responsible for managing commercial projects from handover through to completion, including: Project planning, programming and procurement Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams Client and consultant coordination Cost control, variations and progress claims Programme, quality and safety management Driving projects through to practical completion and close-out Working closely with internal delivery, estimating and contract administration teams About You You will ideally have: Project Manager experience within commercial construction, fitout or refurbishment A strong understanding of programme, cost, contracts and site delivery Experience managing multiple stakeholders across live projects Strong communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients A trade, construction management or similar background Good commercial instincts and a practical approach to problem solving This could suit someone currently working as a Project Manager, or a strong Junior PM / Senior CA ready to step up, depending on project experience.
