Your responsibilities will include: As the Hardware Delivery Program Manager, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of integrated hardware systems across the AIR6500 program. You will lead large, complex, multidisciplinary teams comprising Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Product Teams, cross-functional specialists and industry partner subcontractors to ensure program objectives are achieved. This role requires a strategic leader who can effectively balance program delivery, stakeholder engagement, resource management, risk mitigation and team performance while operating within a dynamic and challenging Defence environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution and delivery of integrated hardware systems across the AIR6500 program. Provide leadership and direction to large, complex integrated teams, ensuring alignment to program objectives and milestones. Develop, manage and optimise resources across the AIR6500 Hardware Delivery Team. Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Identify, monitor and mitigate program risks to maximise successful program execution. Manage complex stakeholder relationships across Defence, industry partners and internal business functions. Drive program performance, schedule adherence, cost management and delivery outcomes. Ensure effective governance, reporting and decision-making processes are maintained throughout the program lifecycle. About you: Lead the Delivery of Australia's Next Generation Joint Air Battle Management System An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and driven Hardware Delivery Program Manager to play a pivotal leadership role in the delivery of AIR6500, one of Australia's most significant Defence capability programs. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Significant leadership experience managing large, complex programs and multidisciplinary teams. Proven experience delivering acquisition, capability or major infrastructure programs within a highly regulated environment. Demonstrated success leading integrated teams, subcontractors and industry partners to achieve program outcomes. Strong program management expertise, including risk, schedule, budget and resource management. Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills. The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving and challenging delivery environment. A track record of building and leading high-performing teams focused on achieving strategic objectives.
