Our Client, HDD Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking for a qualified Welders/Metal Fabricators. HDD Solutions provides a comprehensive suite of services designed to meet the diverse needs of underground mining operations for the past years with combined experience in maintaining and repairing Mobile equipment. Responsibilities: Fabricate, repair, and assemble metal components for underground mining equipment, including frames, buckets, chutes, and structural parts. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, and stick welding) and cutting methods (oxyacetylene, plasma cutting) to restore machinery components. Inspect damaged machinery parts to determine the scope of repairs. Conduct pre and post repair inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Operate workshop equipment safely, such as grinders, drills, presses, and bending machines, to shape and fit material accurately. Adhere to workshop safety procedures and standards, including the proper use of PPE. Qualifications: Relevant experience or trade qualifications for a similar role Australian Citizens & Permanent Residents only Ability to work with limited supervision, or part of a team and where necessary
