· Senior Piping and Process Designer (Casual) · UGL – Fuels & Energy East | CIMIC Group · Melbourne | Hybrid Working UGL’s Fuels and Energy East business is seeking a Senior Piping and Process Designer to support brownfield and asset maintenance projects across fuel terminals and petrochemical facilities. Working within our PEM&AM contract, you’ll collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver high-quality piping design and P&ID development , ensuring safe, efficient and fit-for-purpose outcomes. This is a casual opportunity (2–3 days per week initially) with flexibility and potential to expand based on project demand. Key Responsibilities Deliver mechanical and piping design using AutoCAD & CADWorx (2D/3D) Drafting P&IDs (critical focus area) using CADWorx P&ID Produce GA drawings, isometrics and material take-offs (MTOs) Build and coordinate 3D models , including clash detection Support brownfield projects including tie-ins, site checks and as-built updates Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet project deliverables About You 8–10 years’ design & drafting experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or similar Strong expertise in piping design and P&IDs (equally important) Proficient in CADWorx and AutoCAD Experience in brownfield environments and site-based verification Ability to manage stakeholders and work across multiple projects What We Offer Flexible, casual working arrangement (ideal for work-life balance) Opportunity to work on critical fuel infrastructure projects Pathways to extend hours or convert to longer-term opportunities Access to UGL benefits and CIMIC Group career pathways About Us UGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of engineering, construction and maintenance services across energy, resources, infrastructure and transport sectors.
