The Role As HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting employees and managers across the business while further developing your existing HR skills as part of a well-rounded, fun and professional team where people come first. Key Responsibilities: Provide timely and practical, solutions-focused HR advice and guidance. Support managers on employee relations and performance management matters. Assist with recruitment and workforce planning initiatives. Facilitate Canterbury’s online learning management system (LMS). Coordinate WHS activities, including training and return-to-work processes. Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and relevant awards. About You We are seeking someone who is a strong cultural fit for the team - grounded, pragmatic and emotionally intelligent with the confidence to support people matters with professionalism and care. You are a reliable, detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys working in a broad generalist role, ideally within a high-volume workforce environment. You will bring: Previous experience in a HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role. Experience supporting hospitality or fast-paced customer service environments. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations matters highly regarded. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities effectively.
