Job Description We’re looking for a Category Assistant to join our Merchandise team at Bapcor Retail. This is a great opportunity for someone with retail experience and strong analytical skills who’s looking to build a career in category management. You’ll work closely with a Category Manager, supporting pricing, promotions, product ranges and supplier relationships across a dynamic retail portfolio. What you’ll be doing Supporting category plans, promotions and product launches Assisting with pricing, competitor analysis and market insights Preparing marketing briefs and coordinating catalogue activity Monitoring product performance and supporting range reviews Managing data, reporting and internal systems (including Excel and databases) Liaising with suppliers, stores and internal teams to resolve queries Helping manage promotional stock, clearance and slow-moving lines Supporting store communication and ensuring accuracy across campaigns
