We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to lead Hub Australia’s finance function and provide the governance, structure, and technical expertise that underpin our national operations. Reporting directly to the Co-CEOs, this role will oversee financial reporting, compliance, audit, treasury, finance operations, and internal controls across a growing multi-site portfolio. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring Hub operates with strong financial discipline while providing executive leadership and the Board with accurate, timely, and well-governed financial insights. What your day-to-day will look like (but not limited to!): Lead Hub’s financial reporting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity across all entities and reporting obligations Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, balance sheet management, and technical accounting matters including revenue recognition and lease accounting Manage finance operations including AR, AP, cash flow, debtor management, and working capital optimisation Drive governance, risk management, internal controls, and compliance across tax, audit, and statutory obligations Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, Board reporting, and strategic financial decision-making Lead relationships with auditors, landlord partners, external advisors, and key financial stakeholders Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
