Quirindi Care Services : Quirindi Care Services is a trusted provider of aged care with 68 residential beds, offering a range of options including long-term residential care, independent living units, and short-term respite or palliative care. With over 40 years of expertise, we are committed to delivering the highest quality services, embracing the needs of a diverse community, and redefining aged care for today’s modern society. We are offering 32 hours per fortnight to provide ongoing planned leave support across the service. Your Role: As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive resident experience in providing a person-centred approach to care. You will foster a collaborative approach in supporting our residents with all aspects of their daily needs and emotional wellbeing, essentially creating what we believe will enable older people to live their best lives. What You’ll Do: Care and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed Care Plan. Personal care, including but not limited to: Personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care and continence care. Mobility, including using aids and falls prevention. Eating and drinking, including awareness of special dietary requirements. Basic skin care including repositioning and application of skin creams. To be successful you will need: A minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or currently studying) - MANDATORY NDIS Worker Clearance – MANDATORY https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/services/ndiswc Valid working rights in Australia – MANDATORY Experience in providing personal care in an aged care setting A passion for delivering a person-centred approach to care Strong verbal and written communication skills An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards Compassionate and Empathetic nature What's in it for you?
