With continued project success and active involvement on one of Melbourne’s largest infrastructure developments, an opportunity now exists for a capable and motivated Project Engineer to join the team in a key delivery role. Opportunity Reporting into senior project leadership, the Project Engineer will play an integral role in the successful delivery of major subcontract packages. You will be embedded within a high-performing project team, contributing across planning, coordination, and on-site execution to ensure outcomes are achieved safely, efficiently, and to specification. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site engineering support as part of a collaborative project delivery team Contribute to project planning, programming, and execution across multiple workstreams Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation for site teams Support supervisors with technical guidance and problem resolution Monitor progress to ensure delivery aligns with budget, contract requirements, and quality standards Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor activities About You To be successful in this position, you will bring: A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent Demonstrated experience in a Project Engineer capacity within civil construction environments Proven exposure to structures, FRP, and concrete packages on major infrastructure projects Strong capability in subcontractor and supplier management A commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards Value Proposition This represents an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor with a secure project pipeline and strong Tier 1 relationships.
