In this role, you'll: Contribute to the effective management of Transport for NSW’s liquidity, funding, and cash flow requirements. This role supports daily treasury operations, including through preparing and processing settlements, assisting with cash flow forecasts, and maintaining accurate records and reports. Work under guidance, to ensure compliance with established governance and reporting frameworks while contributing to the smooth delivery of treasury activities. Manage daily banking transactions, settlements, and payments in line with established procedures, maintaining accurate records and documentation to meet audit, compliance, and reporting requirements. Support treasury operations through preparing cash flow forecasts, liquidity reports, reconciliations, hedging programmes, and identifying or escalating anomalies, risks, or compliance issues to senior staff. Contribute to continuous improvement by providing input on process, system, and reporting enhancements, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of treasury activities that safeguard Transport’s liquidity and funding needs. About you You demonstrate the ability to accurately and efficiently process daily banking transactions and payments, meeting strict deadlines while adhering to established procedures, controls, and quality standards. You’re known for your attention to detail and data accuracy when managing routine, high volume, and time sensitive tasks in a fast paced operational environment. You also have: Experience in treasury, liquidity management, or financial operations in a large, complex organisation, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of cash flow forecasting, settlements, payments, and relevant financial systems (e.g., SAP, Quantum, or equivalent). Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to deliver accurate outcomes within strict deadlines. Essential requirements - Bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Business, Economics or Commerce) from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification, demonstrated and relevant professional experience.
