About the opportunity Our Audit and Assurance services extend well beyond helping clients meeting their financial reporting obligations. At Boroughs Australia, we focus on delivering a timely and efficient audit, with our Directors taking a hands-on approach with clients through all aspects of the engagement. Due to business growth, our audit division is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join our high performing team. Reporting to the Audit Directors, a number of your key duties and responsibilities will include: Assisting with the management and supervision of audit jobs within the team Mentoring and training junior staff Audit of systems and procedures and reporting thereon Audits of foreign controlled Australian companies and other special audits Financial reporting Review and/or preparation of statutory accounts to comply with statutory requirements, as required Review and/or preparation of non-statutory accounts About you To be a successful candidate, you will need to have: Minimum 3 years external auditing and financial reporting experience CA/CPA qualifications Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory requirements Exceptional attention to detail Proficient in the use of various software packages including Caseware, Microsoft Office and DataSnipper and Xero XPM is desirable About what Boroughs can offer you This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a progressive firm which offers a multitude of benefits.
