12th June, 2026 About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for a Human Resources Advisor to join a major resources project based on Barrow Island. Working closely with site leadership and supported by a dedicated head office HR team, you will play a key role in delivering practical HR, Employee Relations and Industrial Relations support across a diverse workforce of approximately 200 personnel. This is a standalone HR position on site, working alongside a back-to-back counterpart, providing critical support across multiple concurrent projects. Our client is seeking a confident HR professional with a few years of experience in the resources sector who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and being hands-on in the delivery of HR solutions. Key Responsibilities Partner with site leadership teams to provide end-to-end HR, ER, and IR advice and support. Support ongoing Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) negotiations and provide guidance throughout the bargaining process. Interpret and apply EBAs, employment legislation, and company policies. Manage union interactions, right of entry matters, and client-related industrial relations requirements. Coordinate and support workplace investigations, including incident management and reporting to clients. Provide expert case management across employee relations matters, including harassment, bullying, performance, misconduct, grievances, and psychological health concerns. Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, and positive workplace culture through regular workforce interaction. Work closely with operational leaders to provide practical and commercially focused HR advice. Provide HR support to additional project locations. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in a Human Resources Advisor role, ideally within the resources, construction, mining, oil & gas, or project environments. Sound knowledge of Employee Relations and Industrial Relations principles. Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements and managing workplace investigations. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility with operational leaders and frontline employees. Confidence working autonomously in a site-based environment. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. A proactive, practical, and collaborative approach to HR.
