About the Role We are seeking a highly specialised Delivery Specialist to support the deployment and delivery of digital solutions across active mining operations. This role requires hands-on experience delivering edge-based and cloud-connected systems in real-world industrial environments, ensuring successful transition from proof-of-concept to operational deployment. The position plays a key role in coordinating technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver complex digital solutions in challenging site conditions. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of digital solutions across mining and industrial customer sites Plan, schedule, and track deployments of edge devices, IoT systems, and cloud-connected platforms Support on-site implementation, configuration, and validation in live operational environments Monitor delivery milestones, risks, dependencies, and escalate issues where required Facilitate alignment between engineering, product, operations, and external vendors Maintain delivery documentation including project plans, reports, and technical handover materials Support ongoing training, troubleshooting, and technical enablement for deployed solutions Contribute to the development of delivery frameworks, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives Mandatory Requirements: Applications will only be considered where all criteria are clearly demonstrated: Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working within the mining sector, including exposure to site-based or field operations Demonstrated hands-on experience deploying or implementing digital, IoT, or engineering systems in active mining or heavy industrial environments (not lab or prototype only) Proven experience working across both edge/embedded systems (e.g. devices, sensors) and cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS, APIs, monitoring systems) Experience coordinating or delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders (engineering, operations, suppliers, customers) Demonstrated understanding of system deployment in harsh or remote operational environments Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Systems) or closely related discipline Highly Desirable: Experience deploying computer vision, AI, or IoT-based monitoring systems in mining environmentsHands-on experience with edge devices (e.g. Jetson, Raspberry Pi) and industrial hardware systems Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), APIs, and real-time monitoring systems Exposure to international deployments or multi-site operations Experience supporting Agile delivery or cross-functional product development teams Important Information This is a hands-on delivery role requiring recent, relevant deployment experience Candidates with pure software, project management, or non-industrial backgrounds will not be considered Applicants must have full working rights in Australia Candidates must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Newcastle NSW Applications close 26 June 2026 Why join Bradken: Be Challenged.
