Your new role As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work across a complex technology landscape, partnering with stakeholders to analyse systems, define requirements and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives. You will support the delivery of technology-driven outcomes by ensuring business requirements are clearly understood, documented and translated into effective solutions, with a particular focus on data integrity, governance and system improvements. Key responsibilities will include: Acting as the interface between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment Analysing existing systems, processes and data to identify improvement opportunities Gathering, documenting and validating business and functional requirements, user stories and process flows Supporting data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, consistency and compliance across systems Contributing to and supporting data migration activities, including mapping, validation and transition processes Collaborating with delivery teams to support design, build and implementation activities Contributing to solution design through feasibility, cost and gap analysis Supporting governance processes, identifying risks and recommending improvements Building strong stakeholder relationships to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements Demonstrated experience with data governance frameworks and data migration projects Experience working with SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 suite (e.g. Teams, Power Platform, Excel) Experience working with cloud technologies and data-driven environments Demonstrated experience working within Agile or iterative delivery frameworks Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline (desirable) What you'll get in return 12-month fixed term contract with potential for extension Hybrid working model (3 days onsite in Newcastle, 2 days from home) Opportunity to work on meaningful transformation and data-focused initiatives Collaborative and supportive team environment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an updated copy of your CV to naomi.wright@hays.com.au. 3002153
