HR Generalist (Temp - Immediate Start | Temp to Perm Opportunity) Bankstown | Full-time (5 days in office initially) We are partnering with a well-established organisation in Bankstown seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team immediately on an initial 6-month contract , with strong potential to transition to a permanent role . This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a supportive, well-structured environment , working closely with and reporting directly to the COO . About the role The successful candidate will be willing to work across the board spectrum of HR functions in a medium sized disability support provider. You will have the support of the executive as well as an external HR Consultancy however you will be the main POC for all HR matters on a day to day basis. The successful applicant needs to be self motivated and comfortable rolling up their sleeves and tackling HR administration as well as some of the more strategic aspects of the role. You will use your initiative proactively identifying problems and finding solutions playing a key role in the day-to-day HR operations. Key responsibilities Providing support across core HR functions Maintaining employee records and HR documentation Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes Assisting with compliance and HR reporting Performance Management and ER issues Responding to HR queries from internal stakeholders Ensuring company processes and procedures are followed consistently About you Previous experience in a stand alone HR role (with support from a manager interstate or through a consultancy is OK) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes Confident taking initiative and working independently to solve problems Highly organised with excellent communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment What's on offer Immediate start Not for Profit Benefits = circa 10% of base salary Supportive leadership and team environment Exposure to senior leadership (reporting to COO) Temp to perm opportunity for the right person Hybrid flexibility available once settled and performing well If you're an experienced HR generalist ready to hit the ground running and looking for your next opportunity with long-term potential, we'd love to hear from you.
