About the Role A well-regarded national law firm with a significant Adelaide presence is looking for an Associate or junior Senior Associate to join its busy Property practice. The team has been working together for over a decade under experienced senior leadership, and has built a strong reputation acting for institutional landlords, developers and major corporates across a diverse range of asset classes. This is a genuine full-service property role — you'll work across leasing, capital transactions, development, retirement living, conveyancing and general advisory. The breadth of work is a real point of difference, and the calibre of clients reflects a practice operating at the top end of the Adelaide and national market. The role offers a clear pathway for the right candidate to develop their own practice over time, with meaningful partner and special counsel access from day one. Responsibilities Advise institutional landlords on commercial, retail and industrial leasing, including major leases and agreements for lease Act on capital transactions including fund-through acquisitions, divestments and portfolio sales Draft and negotiate complex development agreements, joint ventures and land facilitation arrangements Advise on retirement living and aged-care property portfolios Manage commercial and residential conveyancing matters, including off-the-plan contracts for torrens and community title land divisions Deliver general property advisory work across a broad client base Manage multiple concurrent matters with appropriate supervision and attention to deadlines Requirements 3–6 years' PQE in property or real estate law, gained within a reputable practice (relevant in-house experience considered) Strong technical drafting skills across commercial property transactions Proven ability to manage a varied file load and meet competing deadlines Clear and concise communicator — written and verbal — with the ability to translate legal complexity for clients Commercially minded and proactive in approach Admitted to practise in South Australia (or eligible for admission) What's On Offer Competitive remuneration package Genuine career development and progression pathways Collaborative and high-performance team culture Work with market-leading clients and mandates Dedicated consultant support throughout your process Next Steps To apply or find out more, contact: Matt Marshall | 0420 595 148 | matt@greysilver.com.au All applications are handled with strict confidentiality.
