Dayboro Bakery is seeking an experienced and reliable Pastry Chef to join our team. We are looking for someone with strong pastry skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating high-quality baked products. Key Duties Prepare, bake, and finish pastries, cakes, desserts, and other bakery products Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, creams, icings, glazes, and decorations Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent product quality Monitor baking processes, temperatures, and presentation standards Decorate and present products to meet customer and business expectations Operate bakery equipment safely and maintain work areas Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and reducing product wastage Contribute to new product ideas and seasonal menu items Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production needs Requirements Relevant qualification in Patisserie, Baking, Commercial Cookery, or similar At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role Strong knowledge of pastry production, cake preparation, and baking techniques Excellent attention to detail and consistency Ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment Good teamwork and communication skills Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and peak trading periods as required Benefits Full-time stable employment Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within an established bakery Skill development and career progression opportunities Competitive salary package How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your relevant pastry chef experience.
