AO5/1 Superintendents Representative The Opportunity An experienced Contract Administrator / Contract Supervisor is sought to support the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of building and construction projects across Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional project delivery team and play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and legislative obligations. Working within a government infrastructure environment, you will provide high-level contract administration services throughout the construction phase of projects. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to monitor project performance, manage contractual matters, and support the delivery of quality outcomes. This role offers exposure to a wide range of construction and engineering projects and would suit someone who enjoys being actively involved on-site while contributing to the successful delivery of essential public infrastructure. What's On Offer Full-time opportunity Competitive salary package Queensland-based role Exposure to major building and construction projects Opportunity to work within a respected project delivery environment Supportive team culture with ongoing professional development opportunities About the Role Key responsibilities include: Administering construction and engineering contracts throughout project delivery Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance Coordinating and facilitating site meetings with contractors and stakeholders Preparing and issuing variation orders Assessing and reviewing contractual claims Managing contractor requests for information and contract documentation Monitoring construction quality and compliance with contract requirements Preparing and managing defects lists during project completion Supporting compliance inspections and maintaining accurate project records Providing advice and support regarding contractual issues, disputes, cost, time, and quality matters About You You are a proactive and detail-oriented construction professional with strong contract administration experience and the ability to build effective working relationships with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. You possess sound knowledge of construction contracts and are confident managing contractual processes throughout the project lifecycle. You will bring: Experience in contract administration within the construction industry Knowledge of traditional and non-traditional contract delivery methods Experience undertaking site inspections and monitoring contractor performance Ability to interpret contract documentation and specifications Experience assessing variations, claims, and contractual correspondence Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Construction, engineering, project management, or related industry experience Current Queensland Driver Licence or ability to obtain Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project administration systems Previous experience administering government building contracts will be highly regarded To Apply Applications should be forwarded by clicking the 'Apply' button below.
