New Richmond Road Stage 2 construction will reduce congestion, improve safety and provide improved flood resilience between Richmond and North Richmond. It addresses congestion issues caused by traffic increases from a growing population, by aiming to improve travel times and provide more reliable access during flooding events. The Richmond Bridge Stage 2 Project includes: Building a new four lane bridge over the Hawkesbury River Widening of Bells Line of Road through North Richmond Building a new bypass between the Kurrajong Road / Old Kurrajong Road intersection and the Castlereagh Road / Southee Road intersection New connections for pedestrians and bicycle users, from Richmond and North Richmond Intersection upgrade at Grose Vale Road and widening on Bells Line of Road Building the Southee Road bypass, including noise mitigations and landscaping. We’re looking for an experienced Survey Manager to support the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project in New South Wales for our Eastern Region Construction (ERC) business. This is a key role where you’ll lead survey activities across the project, ensuring accuracy, quality and alignment with delivery requirements. Working closely with the Project Director and delivery teams, you’ll provide clear direction and technical oversight across all survey functions. You’ll play a critical role in supporting planning, guiding teams on site and ensuring works are delivered to the required standard. What you’ll do Lead and coordinate all survey activities across the project Provide technical direction and support to survey teams and site engineers Ensure compliance with TfNSW specifications (G71, G73, G76, G78), managing survey control, setout, and work-as-executed deliverables, and integrating survey data into construction and digital engineering workflows Ensure survey deliverables meet project requirements for accuracy, quality and timing Work closely with delivery teams to support planning and execution of works Monitor performance, resolve issues early and maintain strong quality assurance processes Build strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors and stakeholders How you’ll connect to the role? We’re looking for a Survey Manager who brings strong experience within civil construction or infrastructure projects and understands the role survey plays in successful project delivery. You’re confident managing survey teams, coordinating across multiple work fronts and ensuring quality outcomes in a dynamic environment. You will play a key role in supporting project delivery, quality assurance, and asset handover. Experience using 12d Model and 12d Synergy is desirable for this role. You take a practical, solutions-focused approach and are comfortable providing technical guidance, making decisions and supporting teams on site. You’re organised, proactive and bring a strong attention to detail, while still keeping the bigger picture in mind. You build strong relationships, communicate clearly and work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors and project teams.
