About the Role An excellent opportunity is available for a Registry Officer to join a busy government service environment supporting the delivery of tribunal and registry operations. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build experience within government administration while developing strong customer service, records management and stakeholder engagement skills. Working in a fast-paced frontline environment, you will assist clients, maintain accurate records, prepare documentation and support operational processes that contribute to the effective delivery of tribunal services. You will engage with a broad range of stakeholders and play an important role in ensuring services are delivered efficiently and professionally. Position : Registry Officer – $33.70 to $42.26 per hour super Location : Liverpool NSW Working Arrangement : Onsite Start Date : 9 June 2026 Duration : 2 Months Contract Application Window : 3 Days Key Responsibilities Deliver professional customer service to clients in person, via telephone and through written correspondence. Respond to enquiries and provide accurate information in accordance with established procedures and service standards. Prepare and coordinate documentation required for hearings, meetings and case-related activities. Assist with scheduling, bookings and administrative arrangements for interpreters, reporting services and other support services. Maintain accurate records, files and documentation within case management systems and electronic databases. Perform data entry and ensure information is recorded accurately and within required timeframes. Prepare routine correspondence, notices, reports and administrative documents. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, photocopying, filing and document distribution activities. Monitor shared inboxes and action requests in accordance with operational priorities. Support records management and archiving activities in line with organisational policies. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to facilitate service delivery outcomes. Escalate complex enquiries or sensitive matters to senior team members when required. Contribute to process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with privacy, legislative and operational requirements. Assist with general office administration and other duties as directed. About You Previous experience in administration, customer service, registry, legal support, government or office-based environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-volume customer-facing environment. Excellent attention to detail with strong data entry and document management capabilities. Experience using databases, case management systems or business information systems. Sound organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Strong teamwork skills and willingness to contribute to a collaborative workplace. Understanding of records management, administrative procedures and compliance requirements is highly regarded. Previous NSW Government or tribunal experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential. Full Australian working rights are required. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
