Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation, cooking, and presentation. Assist with menu planning and the development of new dishes and specials. Prepare ingredients and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained for daily kitchen operations. Store food safely and maintain appropriate temperature controls in accordance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and food preparation areas. Inspect food supplies and ingredients to ensure freshness and quality. Assist with stock control, stock rotation, and inventory management. Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements. What We're Looking For Relevant qualification Minimum one year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen environment. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
