Feed Mill Technician - Technicians and Trades Workers nec Company: Food Security Location: Beverley, Western Australia Salary: AUD 70,000 - 90,000 per annum (depending on experience) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Our client, Food Security, is seeking a skilled Feed Mill Technician to join their agricultural production team in Beverley, Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimising feed mill machinery to ensure the efficient and consistent production of high-quality animal feed. You will play a key role in supporting daily production operations, ensuring equipment reliability, product quality, and compliance with safety and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor feed mill machinery and production equipment Ensure feed production processes run efficiently and meet quality standards Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance on mill equipment Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimise downtime Monitor ingredient mixing, grinding, and batching processes for accuracy and consistency Assist in calibration and adjustment of production equipment Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the feed mill facility Record production data, maintenance activities, and equipment performance Support repairs and coordination with maintenance and technical teams Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures Requirements Experience in feed mill operations, grain processing, or similar manufacturing environment Knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial production equipment Ability to operate and monitor automated or semi-automated machinery Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Understanding of workplace health and safety standards Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Physically fit and able to work in an industrial production environment Relevant technical or trade qualification is an advantage but not essential What We Offer Competitive salary package Stable full-time employment Hands-on operational role in a growing agricultural business Training and upskilling opportunities Supportive and safety-focused workplace Long-term career development potential
