Metal Fabricator Company: Food Security Location: Beverley, Western Australia Salary: AUD 80,000 - 90,000 per annum (depending on experience) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Our client, Food Security, is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join their agricultural and machinery maintenance team in Beverley, Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, repairing, and maintaining metal components and structures used in farm machinery, equipment, and workshop operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of agricultural and mechanical systems across the operation. Key Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal parts and structures based on technical drawings and specifications Repair and modify agricultural machinery, plant equipment, and structural components Perform welding, cutting, grinding, shaping, and finishing of metal materials Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans Carry out maintenance and repair work on machinery and workshop equipment Assist in installation and fitting of new equipment and machinery upgrades Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Support preventative maintenance activities across farm and workshop operations Maintain tools, equipment, and fabrication workspace in safe working condition Collaborate with mechanics, technicians, and farm operations staff Requirements Trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, or equivalent Proven experience in fabrication, welding, or metalwork in industrial or agricultural settings Strong welding skills (MIG, TIG, and/or ARC preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment What We Offer Competitive salary package Stable full-time role in a growing agricultural operation Hands-on and varied workshop environment Opportunities for skills development and training Supportive and safety-focused team culture Long-term career stability in the agricultural sector
