The Gig Lead and coordinate engineering design delivery as an Engineering Design Manager across development and infrastructure projects. Based in Brisbane and reporting into senior leadership, you’ll lead and coordinate design delivery across multiple projects, overseeing outputs from concept through to detailed design. You’ll support engineers and designers while ensuring deliverables align with project requirements, approvals, and client expectations. Across different stages of delivery, you’ll coordinate design inputs, review technical outputs, and ensure consistency across disciplines. Your focus will be on maintaining quality, managing timelines, and resolving issues early to keep projects progressing. You’ll work closely with project managers, surveyors, and external stakeholders to align design outcomes with broader project requirements, ensuring smooth transition from planning into construction. Design coordination and delivery sits at its core . Your ability to lead teams, maintain quality, and keep design aligned with project objectives will drive successful outcomes. Relevant engineering qualification with strong design background in civil or development projects Experience operating at Senior Engineer or Design Manager level Strong understanding of civil design, approvals, and development processes Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary design inputs across multiple projects Experience working across multiple projects and managing competing priorities Strong communication skills across internal teams and external stakeholders You’re the kind of person who takes ownership of your work and leads from the front.
