Job Description The School of Medicine and Dentistry is seeking a highly organised and proactive Clinical Placements Coordinator to support the delivery of clinical placements for medical students within the Doctor of Medicine program. This role is central to ensuring students successfully complete their clinical placement requirements while maintaining a high-quality learning experience across hospital and community-based settings. You will work closely with Phase 2 and Phase 3 Leads, Clinical Sub-Dean, Clinical Leads, supervisors, and a wide range of clinical partners. You will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day placement activities, building strong relationships with external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth communication between the University, clinical sites, and students. About you You will hold a diploma-level qualification (or equivalent) combined with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills, knowledge, and experience. You will bring strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and confidence working with a range of stakeholders in a complex clinical or educational environment. Experience in higher education, health, or clinical placement coordination will be highly regarded. What we can offer This is a fixed-term (until 3 January 2028), full-time position based at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. The Sunshine Coast site is located on the land of the Kabi Kabi and Jinibara peoples. Salary Range The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $82,415 - $92,456 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $96,426 - $108,174 per annum.
