In this casual position, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals by empowering individuals to live independently, working together towards their goals, and enhancing their health and overall well-being. Your work will directly contribute to the quality of life of those you support. What you’ll be doing • Provide personalised care and support to individuals • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks • Facilitate community participation and social inclusion by accompanying individuals to appointments, activities, and social events • Advocate for the rights and needs of the individuals you support, ensuring they receive the best possible care • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure high-quality, person-centred support • Providing a holistic approach to individuals What we’re looking for • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to promoting their independence and inclusion • Relevant qualifications in disability support, community services, or a related field, or a willingness to work towards these • Experience in providing person-centred support, with a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with the individuals you support • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond effectively to the changing needs of the individuals you support • A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation • Professional, reliable, and positive manner What we offer At Cooruler Care, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that values the contributions of our team members.
