Bellwether provide Project Management support to private and government clients throughout Australia, and are Principal Contractors delivering construction projects across QLD. Our people come from major infrastructure delivery backgrounds and bring with them ‘hands-on’ experience in the planning and delivery of some of Australia’s biggest and iconic projects. We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has a solid understanding of CostX and has had exposure to infrastructure projects. You’ll be responsible for general Quantity Surveying activities including preparing cost reports on projects as well as ensuring quantity take-offs are undertaken in accordance with the works contract. The ideal candidate will have the following: Bachelor of Urban Development (QS), Civil Engineering, or other relevant degree Experienced with detailed measurements across infrastructure projects Competency with on-screen measurements prepared in CostX (or equivalent platform) An understanding of industry-recognised measurement and cost estimating standards (ideally TMR / TfNSW etc) Knowledge of manipulating BIM would be beneficial Excellent time management and communication skills Acute and attention to detail RICS or AIQS membership would be desirable Bellwether provide opportunities for career development and the chance to be influential in the overall growth of the business.
