The Role We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to lead clinical and care delivery within our residential aged care service. Working alongside the Facility Manager, you will drive high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring strong clinical governance, compliance, and positive resident outcomes. The successful incumbent confident and compassionate leader with strong clinical expertise and the ability to influence, motivate, and develop teams. They will bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a genuine passion for aged care. Some of the key responsibilities include: Lead and support clinical and care teams Oversee care planning, delivery, and evaluation Drive quality, compliance, and accreditation outcomes Monitor clinical indicators, incidents, and continuous improvement Mentor, develop, and manage staff performance Collaborate with residents, families, and stakeholders Qualifications Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA registration Qualifications in management, health, or a related discipline (highly regarded) Current First Aid and CPR Certificates Experience Extensive experience in residential aged care, including senior or leadership roles Strong clinical background with demonstrated experience in clinical governance Proven experience managing teams and driving performance outcomes In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements Experience with aged care funding (ACFI/AN-ACC) and compliance frameworks Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and risk management systems Essential Skills Strong leadership and people management capability Ability to drive high-quality clinical and care outcomes Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Sound judgement and ability to respond effectively to incidents and complex situations Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively Commitment to person-centred, culturally sensitive care Ability to lead change and continuous improvement initiatives Intermediate to advanced computer and reporting skills Why MiCare?
