Due to continued growth across delivery programs and operational capability, an opportunity exists for an experienced APS6 Developer Team Leader to coordinate and support software delivery activities across a complex enterprise environment. The Opportunity This is a delivery leadership role focused on coordination, planning and stakeholder engagement across software development teams operating within agile delivery environments. You will work closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads and business stakeholders to coordinate competing work priorities, manage sprint and backlog activities, and ensure delivery outcomes are tracked and achieved effectively. The role is less hands-on, with a stronger focus on enabling technical teams to deliver successfully through effective planning, communication and delivery coordination. Beyond the leadership responsibilities, this role offers the opportunity to: Lead delivery activities across enterprise technology environments Work within complex agile delivery and operational support teams Gain exposure to enterprise delivery, cloud, cyber security and infrastructure dependencies Have access to hybrid working arrangements available depending on operational requirements The Role As the successful application, you will be: Coordinating and planning software delivery activities across multiple initiatives and competing priorities Managing sprint planning, backlog refinement, release scheduling and delivery tracking activities Facilitating agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives Monitoring delivery metrics including sprint velocity, burn-down rates, risks and issues Allocating work across development teams based on priorities, capability and capacity Identifying, escalating and resolving delivery blockers across technical and operational teams Coordinating dependencies across cyber security, cloud, infrastructure and support functions Acting as a key liaison between developers, Product Owners and business stakeholders Providing day-to-day leadership, onboarding support and team coordination activities Supporting continuous improvement across delivery processes, documentation and reporting The Ideal Person This role suits someone who enjoys leading teams, managing competing priorities and driving delivery outcomes within complex ICT environments. You will bring: Experience leading or coordinating delivery teams within enterprise ICT environments Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams Experience managing competing priorities within agile delivery environments Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for backlog management, sprint planning and delivery tracking Understanding of agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban Ability to analyse delivery metrics and use information to support planning and decision making Strong organisational and coordination capability within fast-paced delivery environments Experience coordinating dependencies across multiple technical teams Understanding of software delivery lifecycle practices and enterprise delivery environments Strong people leadership and team coordination capability It’s also desirable for you to possess: Experience working within Federal Government or highly regulated environments Exposure to cloud, infrastructure or cyber security delivery environments Experience supporting enterprise-scale application delivery or operational sustainment Familiarity with governance, risk and information security practices Previous leadership or delivery coordination experience within agile environments Salary / Rate $102k – $114k 15.4% Super How To Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link.
