Part of Masterpet, Pet Care Kitchen is a state of the art manufacturing facility based in Parkes NSW, where world class manufacturing technology is used to create the highest quality kibble in Australia. The Extruder Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining the machines that extrude or draw raw materials into kibble. Working within a fast-paced production environment in a small, cohesive team you will be responsible for meeting production demands in line with quality and safety objectives. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor extrusion machinery and associated production equipment Conduct quality checks and sample testing throughout production Maintain equipment cleanliness and complete routine maintenance tasks Identify and minimise production waste Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues Follow all food safety, GMP and workplace safety procedures What We're Looking For Previous experience in manufacturing, food processing or production environments using extrusion or other automated machinery Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Reliable, safety-focused and able to work within a team Willingness to work rotating shifts across a 24-hour Monday-Friday operation Forklift licence would be an advantage What's on Offer Stable, ongoing employment opportunity Training and development opportunities Competitive hourly rates including overtime and shift allowances Generous assistance to relocate to the Parkes area if necessary Apply Now If you are looking for your next opportunity in manufacturing and want to join a growing operation with long-term potential, we would love to hear from you.
