Cook – Residential Aged Care We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Cooks to join our team supporting Residential Aged Care Facilities across Australia. The successful candidates will be passionate about providing nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and resident care. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals in accordance with facility menus and dietary requirements. Ensure all meals are presented to a high standard and delivered on time. Maintain compliance with food safety and infection control standards. Monitor food quality, stock levels, and kitchen cleanliness. Work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff to meet resident needs. Understand and cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, including texture-modified diets, allergies, cultural preferences, diabetic, gluten-free, and other specialised meal plans. Essential Requirements: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent recognised qualification). Current National Police Check. Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. Current First Aid Certificate. Current Influenza (Flu) Vaccination. Demonstrated experience working in commercial kitchens, preferably within aged care, healthcare, or hospitality environments. Strong understanding of food safety standards and infection control practices. Excellent knowledge of aged care dietary requirements and nutrition standards.
