We are seeking a skilled SLAM Architect to drive the development of advanced autonomous navigation systems. This role involves creating innovative solutions for Visual-Inertial SLAM, dynamic obstacle avoidance, and path planning to enhance our robotic platforms. Responsibilities: Develop robust Visual-Inertial SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) pipelines. Implement dynamic obstacle avoidance and predictive path planning. Optimize algorithms for low-compute edge deployment on the robot. Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of state estimation, Kalman filters, and factor graphs. Experience with ROS2/Nav2 and point cloud processing (PCL). Proven track record of deploying autonomous navigation in real-world settings.
