Assistant Director of Sport Full-time, Fixed-Term (Five-Year Appointment) Christ Church Grammar School is seeking applications from dynamic, passionate and committed educators for the full-time position of Assistant Director of Sport , commencing in Term 4, 2026 . Reporting to the Director of Sport, the Assistant Director of Sport plays a key role in leading the coordination and delivery of the School’s sporting program, ensuring high-quality participation, engagement and experiences for students across a broad range of activities and competitions. This full-time position comprises: 0.4 FTE Assistant Director of Sport 0.6 FTE teaching load , including classroom teaching in your specialist field and responsibility for a pastoral tutorial group. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and delivery of school sport programs, including competitions, fixtures and events, to ensure high-quality student participation and experiences. Manage sport operations , including coaches, officials, logistics, facilities, equipment and administration across multiple sporting codes. D rive community engagement , communication and program development, while ensuring student wellbeing, safety and continuous improvement across all sport activities. What You’ll Bring Relevant qualifications and experience in education, coaching or sports administration, with eligibility to teach and a strong understanding of school sport environments. Proven organisational and leadership skills, with experience managing sport programs, coaching staff, and using IT systems to support operations and communication. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities , with a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to student engagement, wellbeing and community connection.
