The Opportunity TAMS has an exciting opportunity for and an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Officer to join our Fremantle Based Team. We are seeking a motivated and organised Procurement Officer to support the effective delivery of operational and project requirements across the business. This role is responsible for coordinating procurement activities, managing purchasing processes, supplier relationships, and inventory requirements in line with company procedures. The successful candidate will maintain accurate procurement records and documentation while ensuring the timely sourcing and delivery of materials, consumables, and services to meet operational deadlines and business needs. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement activities including raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders through systems such as Concur or other approved platforms. Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules in line with operational requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs, monitor order progress, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, registers, and audit-ready filing systems. Support inventory management including planning stock levels for materials, PPE, consumables, and other supplies, as well as coordinating receipt and distribution of goods. Assist with supplier performance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and efficiencies. Provide general administrative and project support as required to meet operational and business needs. Undertake other duties as reasonably required in line with skills and experience. About You Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply coordination, or a similar administrative role, with exposure to the marine, construction, logistics, or resources industry viewed favourably. Strong organisational, administration, and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience using procurement or mobilisation systems such as Concur, OPMS, ERMS, or similar ERP systems considered advantageous. Inventory or stock control experience will be well regarded. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and support supplier management and procurement compliance processes. Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively while demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. Current C Class Driver’s Licence essential, with a Construction White Card beneficial.
