The Learning Nook Early Education & Child Care is seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator to join our team in a full‑time, permanent role. This position supports high‑quality education and care for children aged 0–5 years in a warm, family‑centred environment. About the Role This role includes duties such as: Supervising and caring for children during routines, play, and learning experiences Supporting children's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development Assisting in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning programs aligned with the EYLF Observing, documenting, and reporting on children's progress Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and engaging environment Supporting behaviour guidance and positive interactions Communicating with families and working collaboratively with the team Assisting with daily routines, including meals, rest, transitions, and hygiene practices These duties reflect the actual day‑to‑day responsibilities of the position within our service. Skills & Experience Required Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA‑assessed equivalent) Experience in early childhood education Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and child‑safe practices Current Working With Children Check -QLD Blue Card Current QLD Child Protection Training and National Child Safety Training Certificates First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Warm, reliable, and committed to high‑quality practice
