What we have on offer: The Duty Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of licensed venues, providing premier customer service and support to staff. You will maintain full compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol and Gaming guidelines and ensure established procedures are all upheld while working at both the Port Club and the Prince of Wales Hotel. You will be responsible for: - Monitoring day to day operations within the venue, including supervising and supporting staff during shifts. - Respond to customer enquiries with high-quality customer service skills. - Opening and closing the venue as required, while maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff and customers. - Maintaining compliance with responsible Liquor and Gaming guidelines and procedures. - Handling cash and completing end of shift reconciliation as per policy and procedures. What you need to be successful: - Minimum of 2 years? experience as a Gaming Manager and/or a Responsible Person. We will also consider applicants who have had a GA badge for a minimum of 2 years. - Strong communication and leadership skills. - Excellent people skills towards both customers and colleagues. - Proven experience in leading hospitality teams. - Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment. - Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including nights, weekends, & public holidays, with the ability to work at short notice when required. - Current RSA & RSG certificates are required. - Jackpot experience is preferred but not required. - Experience in food & beverage and functions is preferred but not required.
