THE COMPANY: Howard Porter is a manufacturer of transport solutions and has been for over 80 years and has a small, but busy spare parts department based at Spearwood W.A. THE ROLE: We currently require a Spare Parts Salesperson and with a positive attitude towards customer service that will further assist in the continued growth of the business. The successful applicant will be serving external customers with the emphasis on active listening, providing solutions and generating spare parts sales whilst ensuring all customers receive great service and attention to detail. This position requires data entry, stock control and maintaining a high level of spare parts supply and service to our customers. It is essential that you have previous experience within the Heavy Transport Industry i.e sideloaders and trailers and an extensive knowledge of road transport and semi-trailer parts and equipment. Your sales, negotiation and superior communication skills will be well utilized. Problem solving and with solutions focus as well as your computer literacy will also be great value.
