As the Senior Director, Emergency Communications and System Assurance, you will lead and shape the future of emergency communications by managing key relationships with Digital Canberra (DCBR) and a diverse network of stakeholders. You will oversee strategic assurance activities and audits, ensuring communications and critical systems consistently deliver exceptional levels of availability, redundancy, security, and operational effectiveness. A key part of your role will be shaping and continuously improving business continuity plans, ensuring that all ComCen systems, equipment, training environments, and backup sites operate seamlessly—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Eligibility/Other requirements: This position is a Designated Security Assessment Position. The successful candidate will be required to acquire and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Security clearance. This position does not require a pre-employment medical. This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
