About The Company This is a company that is already established in Australia but is now on a new growth trajectory due to the addition of a new Senior Leadership Team. They have restructured the business to focus more on the NSW area and are building a brand new team in Central Sydney. They have kept their existing client relationships and pipeline and are now looking for Engineers to help manage the client side project work supported by technical teams based across Australia. They work on a variety of project types in the Residential, Local Government, Healthcare and Education sectors with a lot of their work coming from their close relationships to Architects and End User clients. About The Role They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the newly established team in Sydney to help manage their busy project pipeline. They need an experienced pair of hands who has demonstrated experience in running projects across the full construction lifecycle. They would also look at someone who is just stepping into a Senior level but only on the basis that they have demonstrated some skill/ experience in managing clients on projects. The technical work will be supported by teams in Perth, Philippines and Melbourne so experience on client meetings and site is essential. They work mainly in CAD but some Revit but this again will be supported by the modelling team elsewhere. Skills And Experience We're keen to speak with engineers who have: 5 years' experience of Electrical Design within a consultancy setting Experience delivering projects across the full design lifecycle Australian experience of mechanical design across a variety of relevant projects. The ability to manage projects and coordinate with clients and stakeholders Excellent communication and report writing skills A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail A collaborative approach Culture The culture of this company is changing. The first 6 months of the role will be working mainly remotely with occasional visits to their Sydney Servcorp office/ site visits.
