As a result of ongoing business growth, they are currently looking for a Mechanical Trade Assistant to join their team. The role will be working within a workshop environment alongside qualified Mechanics, Boilermakers, and other tradespeople supporting a large servicing team of approx. 15-20 staff members in Sydney. What will be my main responsibilities? Assisting tradespeople with fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly. Cutting, grinding and preparing materials for fabrication. Follow technical drawings and written procedures. Using hand and power tools to assist with mechanical servicing and repairs. Supporting the wider workshop team where required. How can I be successful? Previous experience in a workshop, production, or mechanical environment. Basic welding and fabrication experience (desirable). Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport. Full Australian Working rights. Why should I apply?
